This is intended for serious discussion of the controversies, approaches and enigmas surrounding the origins and development of the human species and of human civilization. It is a discussion board for the most eclectic and (so far as possible) unlimited range of dissenting history: On this board you'll find topics ranging from Rennes Le Chateau; "who built the pyramids?"; "was Atlantis in the Sahara/Atlantic/Pacific?"; the meaning of myths; scenarios of the end of Ice Age; Hermetic and Masonic conspiracies; archaeoastronomy; monumental alignments; world "grids"; religious beliefs in antiquity; "did the Chinese discover America?"; "Was Stonehenge an observatory?"; lost civilisations; out of place artefacts; human origins; Ancient Egypt; marine archaeology; Cave art; etc.
For topics such as ancient astronaut theories, or modern spirituality derived from the ancient world, or for general discussions and everyday events, there are four other boards under the aegis of our former general and current affairs board The Global Village.

In addition to the discussion of the scientific aspects of history and/or Egyptology, the “Science and Space” board allows for a discussion in general over all those other interesting issues related to science, medicine, cosmology, space and so on. Science ad Space also covers such topics as SETI (the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) and the possibility of life on other worlds (for example the ‘microbes’ found in Martian meteorites) – but for discussions about possible alien contact with this world, crop circles, UFO’s and alien abductions we point you in the direction of the ‘Paranormal and Supernatural’ Message Board.

This board discuss all matters relating to personal development using religion, philosophy, psychology and so on. This would be the board to discuss meditation, Yoga, spiritual traditions, existentialism and Jung – especially traditions still alive today, or how ancient traditions might be applied to the modern world – perhaps to answer that perennial question ‘why are we here – and now that we are here what are we to do?’. While we anticipate some degree of cross-over between this board and ‘Global Village Supernatural’ in general this board will be grounded in established traditions – say discussing the Tibetan book of the Dead, Joseph Campbell’s interpretation of myths, Nietzsche’s worldview or ‘should the West use spiritual traditions taken from the East?’.

On this board you'll find discussions of everything that might be classed as 'paranormal' - i.e. not currently accepted by our modern scientific paradigm - from Life after Death, Near Death Experiences, Out Of Body Experiences, reincarnation, ghosts and spirits, to parallel universes, shamanic journeying to access other "dimensions" and levels of reality, crop circles, alien abductions, magic and elves. It is also the board for 'Fortean' events and strange occurrences.

In addition to all the discussion boards, the “Miscellaneous” board provides a different environment for posters. This “Miscellaneous” board is a social and/or notice board and is not so much for discussing Grahams work, or related topics as covered by the other boards, but more like a place where people can share other things like holiday or other personal stories, announcement like: “hey watch BBC2 for an interesting episode of...”, “Who has seen the new star wars movie”, and the likes. Also the “Miscellaneous” board will be used by the moderation team and Graham Hancock for general announcements. Please take note that the “Miscellaneous” board is no open advertisement page. So if posters want to draw attention for commercial activities they are requested to apply for approval through the web editor.
